Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 20, 2026 · Memspire LLC · Questions: support@memspire.com
Memspire LLC ("Memspire", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Memspire persistent AI memory service available at mcp.memspire.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you connect to and use the Memspire MCP service.
Summary: We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. Your memory data is private to your account, encrypted, and never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
1. Information We Collect
When you connect Memspire to an AI client (such as Claude or ChatGPT) using OAuth, we collect:
- Account identity — your Google account email address and profile name, used solely to create and identify your Memspire account
- Memory data you submit — text, documents, and files that you or an AI client saves to Memspire on your behalf (summaries, context entries, documents, binary files)
- Session metadata — timestamps, AI client platform identifiers (e.g. "claude.ai", "claude-code"), and session IDs used to organize your memory history
- Usage logs — server-side request logs including timestamps and tool names called, used for debugging and service reliability
We do not collect passwords. Authentication is handled entirely by Google OAuth.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the service — storing, indexing, and retrieving your memory data across AI sessions
- To authenticate you — verifying your identity via OAuth tokens on each request
- To improve reliability — diagnosing errors and monitoring service health using aggregated, anonymized usage metrics
- To communicate with you — sending transactional emails (account confirmations, access notifications) to the email address on your account
We do not use your memory data to train AI models. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure located in the United States:
- Memory nodes (text) — stored in Google Cloud Firestore and Google Cloud Storage, encrypted at rest using AES-256
- Binary files (PPTX, DOCX, PDF, images, etc.) — stored in a private Google Cloud Storage bucket, accessible only via short-lived signed URLs
- Search indexes — vector embeddings stored in Google Cloud Firestore for semantic search; embeddings do not contain raw text
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:
- Service providers — Google Cloud Platform is our infrastructure provider and processes data under their data processing terms
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the successor entity under equivalent privacy protections
5. Retention
Your memory data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all associated memory data — including text nodes, binary files, and session history — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability — request an export of your memory data in a machine-readable format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@memspire.com.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, per-user data isolation, short-lived OAuth tokens with PKCE, and private cloud storage buckets with signed-URL access for files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Memspire is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
